Pari Livermore Hosted Programs About and Benefiting Bay Area Charities

The Award-winning Pari Livermore show Everybody’s Angels and its successor show Everyday Angels celebrated an outstanding array of inspired stories of people helping people.It included ninety-three television programs featured over nine years!

Pari Livermore was the creator, writer and host of Everybody’s Angels. Later, she acted as the fundraiser for Everyday Angels. Funding for the show was provided by such organizations as the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, The Jewish Community Foundation, The Seligman Family Foundation and Salesforce.com. The Nonprofit Sponsor for Everyday Angels was The California Study.

Thanks to TCI, Comcast Cable Networks and KRON-TV, hundreds of remarkable accounts of the goodness of volunteers were brought to light describing the many kindnesses of Bay Area residents.

Within each Everybody’s Angels and Everyday Angels program, the shows’ devoted hosts highlighted the needs of featured nonprofit organizations. As a result of the generosity of the viewing audience, a large amount of donations as well as goods and services were raised. Beyond this, charity organizations were given copies of their actual show segments to serve as fundraising tools. In addition, many viewers, inspired by these good works, contacted the non profits registering to volunteer.

Best of all, people needing assistance in the Bay Area benefited from viewers’ heartfelt response to local charitable services providing good ways to help.

In recognition of her dedication to local non-profits and their volunteers, Pari was honored by the City of San Francisco, which declared February 14, 1997 to be “Pari Livermore Day.”
